Make (dragon) Pix more appealing (for Dragon Trainer Lulu)

A couple of days ago I was looking for upcoming changes in League and stumbled upon a thread telling us that one of the artists at Riot, Maddy, took upon herself (in her free time) the burden of enhancing DT Lulu to be more on the level of DT Trist because of the player feedback.

While the changes are AMAZING to say the least and I am REALLY IMPRESSED someone really is listening to such insignificant problems, I'm quite disappointed Pix wasn't tempered with a bit more. The new details are really nice, but the problem lies in his overall look. I think everyone can agree (very few people actually like dragon Pix in his current state) that his lower lip is kinda gross and that the look in his eyes is dead. He looks bored out of his mind when Lulu and Pix are supposed to be those amazing friends having tons of fun together.

My suggestion would be just a subtle change: to remove the outline of his lips and widen his eyes, like in the image presented above. This would make him somewhat cute. (Tristana's dragon is cute, so it's not really fair Lulu gets an ugly one)

If someone who has the means to contact Maddy (or someone who might be interested in improving Pix) reads this, please tell her about the suggestion. I know she might not be interested considering the fact that we are talking about her free time and that she already made an effort to improve DT Lulu once, but it would be nice to know that she at least saw this. I always envy DT Tristana players when I see them in game with their cutesy dragon.

You know, I used to think that Pix was just derpy and fat in this skin, but looking at it closely, I think the head is the whole issue. It looks like it's just stuck onto the body, the lip and eyes make it look creepy.

The changes you've made make it a LOT better.

But I'd still like to see a change to the head, maybe give the neck and body more flexibility so Pix looks less like an animatronic and more like a living creature.

I think the biggest problem is how his lower lip covers far too much of his muzzle.

It doesn't look like it connects with an upper lip - Pix looks like he's missing the upper lip and/or has a major underbite issue (and not in the artistic way, but the weird one, where his upper teeth are below his lower teeth).

With the jaw reduced a little while paying mind to the cute tooth, the rest of the head could look much better.

Thankfully his black, soul stealing eyes are gone now (thank you), though the heavy eyelids, while intended to make him look fierce, sometimes make him come across as sleepy and disinterested. :D

While dragon Pix is already a tiny masterpiece - I've read descriptions of the sheer effort that went into animating him - I think these parts could still be improved to make the fans fully appreciate him.
