Bard Theory

He is a celestial being from the stars but he wears a mask! this mask hides his true self who he truly is! Bard truly is hard to understand if we focus on his abilities and being as a whole. once we step back and see what he is doing for runeterra perhaps then we can understand who he is. The three holes in his mask are seen throughout the cosmos and hidden across Runeterra(summoners rift being the well known spot). clearly he has left his mark on the planet and he is known to the people as a powerful being. in the video of his release we see that he is called to the abuse of power, not political, but raw magical power, and when abused, he springs into action. his instrument is used to open a portal to space and take objects of extreme power to safety. Perhaps this is bards duty. in the creation of Runeterra powerful objects were created by the ancients which shaped the land and created diversity. Noxus is one of the places that begin to harvest these objects once again to unite Runeterra under one power, except they used force. The war caused a reaction of the elders to protect the Ancients' items. only two champions in all of the League of Legends lore could ever have known of how powerful these items are. Lulu and Bard. now Bard can easily control the power and he tries to save them from misuse. clearly he is a good soul, but he is so old even his language is lost. clearly he is apart of the ancients of Runeterra, he is their knight who protects the land from the evil it produced. notice the holes again, meeps also have the same holes and they come to his aid when he calls them this creates two possiblities either they are:

• They are ancient beings from a distant world unkown to the summoners or
• They are the ancient summoners who sacrificed their being to save Runeterra

this then creates the possibility of asking the question what is Bard. we can ask who he is but what seems more appropiate, he is an ancient creature with an ancient mask known to the cosmos, with the power to hold the most powerful magic in all of Runeterra. he answers still to the council of the League of Legends but ignores the people of Runeterra and has abilities that no other champions has ever had and only items from the shop and spells from the League itself could provide. Except the items powers are far weaker then any of the items and spells that one could find in the shop. his ult, stronger then Zhonyas Hourglass, his q is a slow that defeats most items and can stun, his w is stronger then Mikael's Crucible, and his e can do something no champion or item has ever done before: walk through walls and structures. Therefore I have decifered that Bard himself is actually a construct of the fallen souls of the Ancients who are protecting their land with the ancient magic they bestowed on items of Runeterra and the Meeps are the fallen warriors the Ancients have brought back to aid in the quest to keep Runeterra safe.
