"Downfall" speculation

Obviously this could just be for a new champion, but it doesn't really feel like a new champion announcement. Mostly because the video description says "To ascend the mountain, i had to let go....." which reeks of a rework. Also Riot has been in a rework mode over the last year or so. With all that said, if "Downfall" is about a rework or skin, who is it?

+The falling object looks like a falling ring with a big ass blue gem. +He could possibly be letting go of his obsession with gems (seems like a less than perfect fit for "i had to let go" but thats just me) +He hasn't been messed with by Riot in some time and could be due up for some changes +Hasn't had a skin in awhile -Nothing to do with Targon (although i could be wrong, and no one else i can think of does either)

+Right color scheme, and even have similar gems (ice?) +All have something to "Let go"

Weak or no connection with Targon

That's enough from me, what do you guys think?

-Nothing to do with Targon (although i could be wrong, and no one else i can think of does either)

AurelionSol Has a specific taunt for Taric and calls him "Aspect of Tackiness".

It's Taric before summer and after Aurelion sol his rework is scheduled not to mention we saw the teaser about taric hammer being added to the shop keepers side as a teaser and to top it all off like midnight karma said the missing stop in targon and Taric is a aspect

I dunno what Ashe,Sejuani and Lissandra have to let go,but at this point it is pretty safe to assume that its taric.

Riot hinted already that Taric is going to be changed into a targonian ever since the Poppy rework was released.Since then the evidence that Tarics rework is coming soon and that he is going to be from Mt.Targon only increased( AurelionSol taunt for him,the hammer in the red shop,etc.).

So, its obvious, or at least I hope it is, that is has something to do with the freljord due to the ice and snow. A while ago, riot had Taric marked for rework, so this is possible that this could be that. The chances of it being a new champ, i find slim because AurelionSol , just came out last week, so I'm interested. Most likely Taric , but something to do with freljord, or maybe even a new item, this could be. Something AP like maybe?
