Annie Visual Upgrade?

Just finished my semiannual rewatch of the god-tier Annie cinematic and no matter how many times I see it I always get the urge to play her afterwards. That is, only to be repeatedly smacked with the disconnect between in-game Annie and cinematic Annie, as they're basically two different chars. I know the Fiddle and Volibear reworks are at the forefront right now, and they're definitely looking ultra sexy so far, but are there any plans to eventually move Annie into the new version? It's so much more compelling than what we have now and with the cinematic having been out for so long now it feels rather overdue.

Completely agree. It hurts especially that her outfit is so modern. I would argue she could use some gameplay changes as well to make her more flexable outside of being a new player champion and to update the thematic elements of her gameplay.

She has no place in Runeterra (for real), and her look is too modern. By the way, I had similar thoughts yesterday, especially about Annie's affiliation.

For some god knows who reason riot have left her completely untouched. Yes, I know things like Rammus and Skarner exist, but in the current lol, Annie looks like an out-of-universe character. And what's with people saying her kit is "fine"? Dude, her kit is ancient and really bad to compete with. A mage that needs to blow flash every time they need to make a play is really disadvantageous against actual champs.

Riot said before they have no plans to do that, as the cinematic was to show you who she was and the in-game is where is she now.

I would love Annie to get a proper VGU so her appearance isn't so anachronistic, her abilities are a bit more engaging (a WW style change would be best), and she exhibited a bit more of that "broken-but-disguises-it wild child". But I'm incredibly skeptical of Riot doing it any time soon; after all, most people own her, so there's going to be no rush to buy her up with RP. They could be making new champs that'll always sell.

The cinematic version is based off her in game personality. It's the same version.
