Dark-skinned skins for purple (+ Nami) champions.

Many of the female yordles, Soraka and Nami all have light-skinned skins, even though they're alternative colours. I think it's fair to request a dark-skinned theme for any of these ladies.

Examples of skins with pale complexions: Starguardian Soraka, Lulu, Poppy Winter Wonderland Soraka, Lulu SKT Nami Splendid Staff Nami Lollipoppy Radoll Poppy Snow Fawn Poppy Bewitching Tristana

(et cetera)

If a champion can be purple AND pale, it should be fine to add tan skins to these champions' inventory, since Riot has already considered the skin colour of these champions non-absolute. Aside from that, diversity is a plus.

I agree, although most champions arn't human I'd love to get more diversity then lucian, karma, nidalee, illaoi, and ekko.

And it's all about aesthetics with those skins. They all just look better with really pale skin, especially the winter skins

I think Bewitching Tristana is actually the cat in the background of Bewitching Morgana's splash art, which is why she's white. The Immortal Journey skins are based off of east Asian folklore and such, so there's the reason for Splendid Staff Nami to be light-skinned. Ragdoll Poppy is based on Raggedy Ann dolls, so there's that.

Tbh people would lose their shit if a darker skinned champ got a skin that had white skin So if all of these characters are established as light skinned in their "human" form, why can't they stay like that?

i don't really understand why OP mentioned SKT nami, she's still a mermaid. Just with a pearly pink/purple skin, because that fits with the whole aesthetic with the skin line

Well for the "people wouldn't like a dark-skinned champion getting a skin that makes them white" thing, there's people that are going to throw Hired Gun Lucian at that, even though I'm pretty sure Hired Gun Lucian just has Albinism and isn't actually white.

But, yeah. There's no reason to make them dark-skinned in some skins other than for diversity, really.

Like, using Nami as an example, the Program skins are all white, so why should Program Nami be any different? Why give Splendid Staff Nami a darker skin tone when all the other Immortal Journey skins have light skin?

Program nami doesn't even have real skin XD she's a robot. Sure, i can understand why they would make darker skinned champs and skins. But i don't understand why we should make them for champs that are already known as light skinned

Immortal journey skins are heavily based on Wuxia, and in asian countries light skin is a beauty standard, so it's understandable that those skins would have light skin (They're good af skins too. I LOVE the whole aesthetic)

Sure we need more diversity, but add the diversity by making new champs, not by changing old ones. Didn't we just get Qiyana? Doesn't she count as darker skinned?

And taking into account that roughly half (Don't know the real numbers) of league's champs aren't human, so they don't have skin colors or races, so i'd say the diversity race wise isn't THAT bad in the game (Now what we need more is different body types and ages, i want my grandma champ dammit)

In my personal opinion? Yup And the skin team probably also thought that pale skin would fit better with the aesthetics of the specific skins

Star guardians - Inspired by sailor moon and other magical girl series, usually always have pale skin Winter wonder skins - i mean, they take place in a cold snowy world, most people in places like those have pale skin SKT nami etc she's still a fish and she's pink/purple because it fits the skin aesthetic Splendid staff nami and the other immortal journey skins - Heavily based on the wuxia style and in asia pale skin is a beauty standard Bewitching tristana - there are theories that Tristana is the cat in the background of Bewitching morgana's splash, so that's why she's pale etc

Sure dark tan skin can look really good too, but not in these cases apparently

This is actually a pretty solid idea, its very easy to do and it can fill a void of diversity in this game and this is just being objective here.

The real question is why hasn't riot already done this? when i think about it more it's really odd that Riot hasn't given the option to give chroma's like that for a more diverse look.

Fully support this and surprised it already isn't in the game
