Personally, I dont think its that bad... its old sure, old style, but still has a bit of charm. Also since its retired I doubt they will change it now, especially when others are far worse. :p
Simple solution: replace it with the Chinese art.
Problem is, you're asking for Rito to make a Sona-based improvement. It's common knowledge Rito hates Sona. They wouldn't even do something as superficial as upgrading her splash art, if it's for her.
