What is up with Lucian's left arm?

As the title says. In the recent High noon trailer, we see Lucian in a stare down with Thresh. In the few seconds we see his figure, his left arm, well really his left side is rather demonic; It's different from the rest of him. We see a similar pattern in the PROJECT: Lucian skin. Whole body modified except that left arm.

Based on Splash arts, and don't quote me on this, but it appears he weilds Senna's weapon in his left hand. Did losing her to Thresh take a bigger toll than the lore lets on? Any other theories?

EDIT: Just double checked the Project splash. It's his right arm that's unchanged. Even so, what's with the duality?

I think Lucian may be the victim/survivor of a Devil's Deal. Primarily 'cause of the taglines in the teaser;

Lucian; "Devils live among us. Sometimes, within us. When you're damned either way...Give 'em hell."

Thresh; "Devils live among us. Some hook you into a fool's game, where taking one soul would've been a kinder consequence."

And I think in this case, Thresh has been changed from a sadistic killer to a crossroads devil...And Lucian may have taken a bargain that'd cost him everything.

But, that's just wild speculation, so, do take it with a mountain of salt.

Originally he and his wife Senna carried one (1) light pistol. When Thresh captured Senna's soul, Lucian took up her pistol and fought off the remaining undead with a gun in each hand.

I assume that Lucian was naturally left handed and Senna right handed. It could be speculated that the scientists who modified Lucian into his PROJECT: form found that his left arm didn't need any augmentation since it performed amazingly on it's own, keeping what made him human still alive. While his right arm underperformed comparatively to his left and was operated on to enhance performance.

High Noon Lucian's right arm could be the polar opposite that he wanted to 'the best dead eye around' or something alone those lines and was granted a better 'gunslinger arm' at a price. At the same time, sentimentally respecting the death of Senna, keeps the right half of himself (his better half) grounded and untouched by the devils magics.

I hope its nothing cause if there's any entity I hope(and can rationally see) Lucian making a deal with, its Kindred

I think Lucian's right arm represents his humanity with his left arm representing his anger and devotion, this can be taken literal in both his High Noon skin and Project Skin as in Project Lucian his right arm, with which he wields Senna's weapon is the only slither of humanity he has left. In High Noon Lucian its the opposite, having his left side be corrupted, taking the form of a demon as Lucian drank the devil's blood to hunt down High Noon Thresh after the loss of his wife.

Lucian let hate consume him and so corrupted himself into becoming that which he most despise with the only thing that keeps him tied to his humanity being his memories of Senna.
