Will Old Champion Spotlights ever be updated?
Champions spotlights for some champions such as Lux are really old. Is there any chance that old Champion spotlights become updated?

They do get updated. It happens when there is an "update" change to how the champion works so they would benefit from having their kit explained.
Besides, it's pretty interesting to see what the game was like before you joined. The old ones have a charm to them; Go watch Shen's Spotlight for example.
Nope, unless there is a full VGU or some very drastic changes. They are intended to be just for a champion release ( or rerelease ) and not for future references.
