The Age of War

I just want to take this moment to return to Omega Squad Teemo. Allow me to restate that this variation (I'll be saying this instead of skins) of exist post Institute of War. He comments on things in regard to his helmet bro and the fact that he has taken lives, permanently. Or so he thought. Let move into some other post Institute variations, such as the PROJECTs, Battlecast, and Mecha variations. Just a quick idea I'd like to throw around about the Post Institute and that world.

As we know, came from the void into Runeterra and immediately vaporized someone (Rest in pepperoni). This cause some serious unrest in the hearts of several. To make matters worse, The Institute of War cuts a deal with this vile creature. Needless to say there are some who oppose this decision. Some thought of this as an opportunity to grow ever more powerful. There was an 'Incident' that caused the collapse of the IoW and wars broke out all over Runeterra immediately. Some champions like and used this as an excuse for many things. used his skills to do some exterminating. He lived by a code up until he hang up his scout gear to side with Helmet Bro. This group, The Omega Squad, took some time to adjust to Runeterra with out the IoW. did a few things he wasn't proud of. He figured out he had a proficiency in killing. His skill set aligned perfectly for what The Omega Squad needed. He avenged helmet bro and mercilessly took out some opposition that was know to fair well toward the end game. He even kept some of their belongings as trophies, or burdens he had to carry.

Some nations like Noxus and Zaun allied to form a formidable force. already had plenty of loyal acolytes but they lacked a certain power to truly realize his ambitions. He decided to acquire and augment some fellow champions since he knew they had the power to help him. He began with a shurieman (Don't quote my spelling. Tis bad I know.), A prisoner with power. Promising more power and freedom he created a new host for . A battle cast host. , who would do anything for revenge against Damacia was next. 's tech was changing and he was getting better at the upgrades, however he still needed more. More powerdul host to work with. The Void. Now normally, why would the void need allies? Unless, they were primary targets. Post IoW meant the void-lings had to be removed... permanently. A certain team member made sure was taken care of swiftly. However, looked upon carcasses and saw great potential for evolution. He came into some fresh materials and quickly set to his task. It was not easy and he knew that if it were to work he himself needed a new look. One that would reflect what it was that he was creating. "Creating... Yes. I am what I do." Creator worked with refreshed determination and passion. He quickly gave new life to his two newest creations. Battle cast and . An insatiable appitie now even less likely to be satisfied and a being born a second time so that it may seek out even more information. was proud. He was making his dream a reality, but why stop. The discovery of yet another voidling body lead to even more rebirth and creation. He also came in possession of a certain Shurimian body. After some work, and loads of vaporizing, he had created some very nice new pawns with which he could bring Runeterra to its knees. Creator lead his Battle Cast army to conquest along with his main team Alpha , , , , , and .

Places like Piltover would be fine, but what about other nations. Places like Ionia would not. The Omega Squad still hides their identities, all except . So no one would save poor Ionia from the Zaun invasion. had no use for everyone. He'd merely take the country for himself and hunt down those who he could make use of. Piltover however captured a certain wanderer and produced someone capable of battling the battlecast threat. His creation was dubbed 'PROJECT'. was a well evolved creature now. This very idea angered . However, was a ninja employed by but refused the upgrades because he didn't like the way they looked. As a ninja, loud noises and explosions were not really his thing. On the other hand this PROJECT business, now that was different story. procured the schematics for more PROJECT upgrades and handed them over to see what could do with it. Immediately plans were drawn up for the exceptional ninja as well as a captured wuju master. Both of which made appearences in the Riot released PROJECT: Overdrive video. The Piltover head scientist was asked to save said wuju master. With the fresh completion of 3 new PROJECT's and an anonymous tip as to the location and physical completion time of Piltover set a plan in motion to recapture Ionia. PROJECT was not in the video because a certain heretic joined up with Zaun and simply had to stand in the way. As seen in the Overload video, Project was nearing completion but before that could happen there was a surge in his power. It could have been caused by a bug in the program. Nevertheless PROJECT used this opening to slip in and free . After getting outside They were swiftly assaulted by the new PROJECT . Luckily PROJECT was prepared for this encounter. In the end regained his memories and was about to set out with and .

Meanwhile there were some other inventors who were making giant robots. Mecha was the first and no one really knows where he came from. Soon after took the idea and ran with it. He crafted and unleashed his giant robot, Mecha , on to his enemies. , who could never just submit to finished and probably pilots his giant robot, Mecha .

Post IoW is getting crazy and those who live in the advancements are making monstrosities that will deliver oblivion onto anyone who is not prepared. Much like Butcher Ally for the Gangplank event, I'd eventually like to see a map released for Hexakill, being that there are 6 PROJECTS and 6 Battlecast (minus ). Ruined Ionia could be AMAZING. More to, I would love to see some more Omega Squad and Mecha one day. I mean I love league but this Post Institute of War stuff is the kind of thing I think about.
