What exactly did Riot mean when they said what they said about the SFX in the linked article above? I posted the contents of the article below as a quote for those who don't want to click the link. It almost sounds like they are removing and possibly replacing the sound effect; which I really don't have a problem with but if that is the case I really wish Eno had been more clear in his or her post. Does anybody know what is going on and why it is happening? Thanks in advance.

Hey gang,

I wanted to reach out and let you know that we've gotten some great feedback regarding the siren sound that plays with Corki's Special Delivery ability.

Admittedly, the reaction that is elicited by this type of sound effect for some players was overlooked by the team, and we're going back to the drawing board on this one.

Thanks to all the players that reached out with their concerns on this. We'll give an update when we're closer to rolling out an update.

It sounds a lot like warning siren that is used in some countries. If you live in a country where you need to get out of your house as fast as possible once you hear a siren like that,then it can be irritating to hear something like that in the game.

It's an alarm used to warn for things like tsunamis or an attack.

I don't know precisely what the problem was, but going off of a hunch, and the sound, I could assume that it was triggering something with people with PTSD, (Very fucking wild speculation there, I know. :p) Or, it's just that a large majority of the community was annoyed by the sound. I'd probably go with the second one.
