I love rek'sai, I started in season 5 and since starting she has been my main champion. However, I found this image and though "how can they go from that to this." With this implying current Rek'sai base skin. Her early concept was so good, not saying base is bad but by comparison it's mediocre. When I discovered the artist was a Riot employee and this was just an outdated concept I was disappointed I would never see this ingame.

That pix actually was not early, that was a late concept. (There were many before that one) We made a 3d version but it was changed because those proportions didn't look good once animated.

The colors are too much off - the arms and the face of that color spell like dinosaur and not like voidling.

Especially the mouth is unremarkable - current Rek' Sai has a mouth far more adeguated for a fine "alien stalker lady" like her.
