I honestly see no problem with this new Camille lore and the possible connection to Viktor.

Granted, I am not an avid fan of Viktor's lore and personality, and I despise his gameplay, but as someone who great enjoys "gray" characters and stories, I don't see what the issue is.

The only thing shown was some cult that likely took his ideals and then pushed them to the extreme and is using a "divine" figure in order to keep those ideals with an iron fist. All I see are extremists. Much like the difference between extremist Muslims and non-extremists (Then again, people aren't very good at seperating the two anyways), this cult seems like extremist. It has not been confirmed that Viktor has knowledge of this, much less confirmed if he completely approves of this or not.

I repeat, all I see is a cult that has taken Viktor's ideals to an extreme, not Viktor carrying out his goal through a dark cult.

Over-reaction much anyone?

I don't know what the huge problem is?

Viktor has always wanted to replace humanity with machines, that's like, his entire backstory. He got screwed over consistently by humans, so he figures it'd be better if they couldn't hurt him any longer. Robots don't lie, robots don't betray you, etc.

And when it comes to the whole "evil cult" thing, the Glorious Evolved are even shown to be pretty damn altruistic. One of their motivations is replacing lost body parts and helping the sick. They don't seem evil in the slightest. The body parts thing is creepy, but again, look at Viktor's lore, look at his quotes. "Relinquish the flesh." He legitimately thinks getting rid of human qualities is a good thing, so that makes sense for him. "Destroy, then improve."

I agree. Even this whole "gray lady" thing is just some extremists who heard about an immortal augmented human flying around the city on grappling hooks attached to blade legs and punishes the corrupt. That sounds about as old-testament as you can get. However, they might not be extremists at all. Camille might have been lying about them not liking unaugmenteds to keep the follower out of Camille's way. Not only that, but prosthetics are expensive, yet this cult just hands them out like candy. Plus, they were willing to give Camille info for free. They don't even know she's the gray lady they worship. Just my thoughts.

Of course he doesn't have to stay behind the cult, or even be aware of it. We raise the pitchworks because old Jayce lore gave us trust issues. The new Zaun and Viktor lore is coming very soon; it's the best time possible to let Riot know what I would really dislike to see in my favourite champion's story development, and since it was his lore what made me absolutely fell in love with him it's important to me.
