Splash Art Screens

Aren't the new slash art screens a downgrade from the old ones? Fiddle, Xin, Vayne and many other splash art screens in the latest update look worse than they did before. There was either less work put into the new art or it was simply done by inferior artists. I can see Riot is going for a different art style than it had used so far, sure whatever, but why does the quality have to suffer as well? Whoever started drawing the Taric in the Bloodstone splash screen for example, didn't even finish the face, the things wrong with each splash art are too many to even begin to enumerate in detail. Generally, most of the new splash screens contain unpolished work, bizarre proportions, a bland art style, are inferior to previously held Riot standards and are an underwhelming looking final composition ill-fitting with the rest of the game.
