Has a champion ever willingly (or been forced to) leave the League of Legends? Lore-wise of course, but could it happen? Been having a discussion on this with a few of my friends that play, and none of us could find any information about it anywhere.
The League it is no longer a canonical, but for your question, the only champion wich was "been forced leave" is Jax. He was "banned" for stop his series of victories, but at the end he is back.
Yeah, the prhase "Surprise, i'm back!" it refers at this event.
Unfortunately, the League of Legends and the Institute of War doesn't exist in canon anymore. That was all scraped with the lore updates, and now champions aren't part of any organization.
GP was dead for a couple weeks. IDK if he's still dead in the lore or anything.
