What is the story of the Program skins?
So can anyone shed some light on the story behind the program skins? Who created them, why did he create them? Which timeline do they belong in?

I think project Camille has a voice line to mecha skins saying something about them being outdated, so they probably exist in the same timeline as the mecha skins, just later on and more advanced
Well it looks like the program skins exist in the same AU as the Project skins(if you look at Program Camilles interactions you'll notice that she has a ton of project-related lines). The Mecha and Star guardians might also be part of that skin-universe(as Program camille has a few lines for Mecha-Zero Sion and SG-Jinx has lines for Project and Mecha skins),but those lines might be just for fun,so we can't be sure about that.
Overall it looks like the program skins took over a city/country/whatever,with each of them fullfilling a different task(Soraka is a medic,Camille an assassin and Lissandra seems to have some sort of construction job). Judging by Camilles lines,it seems like the Programs were actually responsible for the creation of the Projects(or at least controlled them for quite some time)
Mecha, Project, Program, Battlecast, all the same universe.
No connection and yet plenty of references across all the skin lines of a connection....ok Riot, I dont agree with this stance at all.
So I kinda think mechas were the first appearing on the robotic process,and after their failure and malfunction (Since well,mz sion lines shows he's malfunctioning and all of mecha skins splash are not on cities or friendly places) So people continue on project skins but someone corrupts some of them,making them another failure. Lastly, program are made by someone who wanted them to take down cities and finish everyone and everything I guess.
I too like to necro a thread...but I've wondered this as well.
do they somehow connect with the browser skins? are they enemies?
