Why complain about Neeko's lines?

A lot of people have been saying that they think a few lines that are triggered by other champions are apparently offensive and that her story is too shallow, but if you combine the 2 together there isn't a problem.

If you forgot already, Neeko grew up isolated on a small island and is literally called "the curious chameleon". For someone who has never seen humans or things like herself, in what way would she learn common courtesy? She's never seen another person or seen how they act to certain things said to them so how should she know that she's being rude?

As for how her story is too shallow, there is almost no way to evaluate on growing up on a small island. She couldn't have been ship wrecked there because then she would have known about common sense and courtesy, the same is with if her tribe on the island all died out since there would have been many other creatures there at one point.

When you think of it like this, it shows where Riot completely outsmarts it's community.

Here's something that's a bit late but it helps; if you think that there is no reason for Neeko to be lesbian check her story again. Neeko will be naturally attracted to people with the same type of body that she has seen for her entire life instead of bodies that are of the same species but have a different organ structure, which is something that she should find weird and try to get used to, hence the name "the curious chameleon" and one of her lines in the game where she says something roughly similar to "I still need to get used to wearing male bodies" or something like that because I can't find a list of her lines.
