the work that is done on the splash art of spell thief lux clearly did not cross over to the skin in game. I think thy should update it or something.

The work done on the splash was just work done on the splash. It was a pet project of some artist at Riot, and not on their production schedule, so when they finished it in their free time, Riot decided to put it in the game.

i feel like there is a lot more they could be focusing on. (other champions that deserve visual updates)

i honestly think it's a pretty easy fix. pull back the cowl a little to show more of her hair, as the cowl now is just too far forward imo? also remove the little granny lilac borders? they don't appear in the splash & completely contradict the ooh spooky i'm sneaking into a sacred archive of spells and makes it more of "my nana gave me her cowl so i wouldn't get cold on the way home!" definitely could've executed it a lot better.
