Varus and What's wrong with his change

The last day there have been treads that criticize varus. There are some points that should be talked about:

• Diversity
• Change
• Gutting
• Hypocrasy

Im a person that loves diversity, I myself am Mexican and have seen the struggles, but I dont agree with the change of Varus's lore, of gutting an established character with clear motivations and clear drives to something different. Specially when his whole character revolved on the concept of revenging his loved ones, more specifically his wife and son, then there is something wrong. And people bashing on me and on others being homophobic, they are showing exactly what is wrong. There is no respect for the character, nor the art of story here, because you want to shove ideals on to other people. People from the LGBT community that are bashing others as homophibics, and claiming they are right just because its not wrong, you are clearly being hypocrites, cause when the moment one of the LGBT characters is changed to hetero-sexual you are the first ones to start complaining, so dont bring those discussions to us, if you are the ones that will fight for that kind of stuff too.

But to prove my point even more, ill just hypothetically chance champions that their lore and geography requires them to be in a certain way, to see if its the same thing.

Woman to Men:

Lets change MF to Mister Fortune, the lore will suffer highly because her lore is about a woman in a mans world. How many other female pirates are there in her lore, stories. There is only one other woman with power and she is Illaoi, but as a religious leader. MF is the only one that dare to be in the high comand of political, and economical issues while being a woman in a man's based society. Her lore loses the message the moment she is change into a man.

Male to Female:

If Garen was a woman and Lux's sister, the story would be way different. Everyone who has had brothers or sisters, knows that the relationships between brother and sister are different then brother and brother or sister and sister. Garen being a girl would make Lux's time way easier, there would be less tension between them and more openness to protect each other no matter the circumstances. His lore loses the message of dealing with justice and whats right and the struggle to try to protect family, to a family centered story not about debating values and morals.

Skin Color: Any human in the Freijrod or in Shurima

Change their skin color and it doesnt fit the region, the environment decides what skin color and although its not key to the lore and story. Its about the consistency between the different regions and their people. Change anyone of the human characters there and the region loses meaning.

Straight to LGBT: Already explained through boards and let's be honest it would be the same way if it was inverse.

Age:

Ekko's lore would be different if he was older when he lost his parents, he would probably be studying and trying to make the world a better place other than only fighting. If he would have lost them later in life, he wouldnt want to repeat that day the one he sees them for the last time in his short story. He would be more mature and see things differently.

Body Type:

No respectable alcoholic has no beer belly, wouldnt make sense to have a non fat beer. Being skinny and alcoholic happens, but in this case hisfat, talks about the scale of his addiction/ drinking patterns.
