I always thought Xayah and Rakan would be paired in all the skin lines they are chosen for, but now in 2019 Rakan is getting a skin without Xayah? Is there a reason for this? I'm a Rakan and Xayah main and I duo with the other character all the time xd and my friends and I like to match...
Yeah. Its called the ADC of the winning team of Worlds didn't play/pick Xayah.
I feel like they don't have to always get a matching skin.
IG gets to pick which champs get skins for their line, and it needs to include champs they played.
Xayah was garbage like the entirety of worlds so not really much reason to pick her.

The champions who get skins for the winning team at Worlds are chosen by the winning team itself. I suppose if you were to ask someone about this, you would ask them.
As a Rakan main, betrayal by Riot Games has never been so profound. Sure there are OP characters, sure there are cruel individuals in this game, but this... is beyond unacceptable in my book.
Xayah and Rakan are a dynamic duo. They require a sense of skill, a sense of unity, and a sense of enjoyment to play together. I find difficulty in having a Xayah adc whenever I have the desire to play Rakan. But when I do, it is like heaven intertwined a few threads to bring out the best in our game. Even if our team was losing, a positive aura remained in the air for both the bottom laners and the entire team itself.
Because of Xayah not being included with Rakan for the Invictus Gaming skin-set is going to displease more people over time. In fact, the likelihood of me purchasing this skin is absolutely zero. I already hate playing Rakan without a Xayah, and now it is being encouraged in terms of monopoly and visual appeal.
If Riot wishes to do right by us with a benefit for themselves as well, I would suggest simply adding Invictus Gaming Xayah to the list. That way, more people are happy and more income will arrive in the wallets of Riot Games' employees and their respected partners, representatives, and Parent-Organization Tencent.
Riot Games, if you're listening, please take the advice for the sake of the millions of gamers who choose to play your game more than any other free-to-play game.

I know this may be hard to believe, but Xayah and Rakan are actually individual characters. They can have skins without the other. Rakan can go dance and hustle for money in a strip club without Xayah there to harsh the mood of place. Xayah can go off and have a coffee in a dingy café and brood over the blackness of her caffeine without Rakan perking the place up. They can do things independent of each other and still be a couple. I know this may be a tough concept to grapple with, but you will learn to understand it better if you've ever been in relationship.
They can have skins without the other. It's fine. It's better for them, actually, because it doesn't limit the creativity of the skins team if they can fit Xayah in a line but not Rakan. I would GLADLY take a Deathsworn Xayah, I think it'd be fucking epic. But Deathsworn Rakan? Not so much. It's not his mood and he'd be hella forced into the line. That's the kind of thing that I can look forward to if they're finally going to be treated as individual champions and not parasites on each other.
