This is a Quick overview of designs of the characters and how it relates to their character I will divide the character by gender, another quick note having a deep voice does not mean the person is male this is especially true for non human characters, for example Velkoz and Kogmaw have relatively deep voices but they are also void monsters that don't follow the rules the govern human anatomy so their is nothing saying that males of their species have deep voices. Now on to the actual focus of this piece. Female Champions: Ahri Ahri is based on a Kumiho and or a Kitsune who are described as seductresses that use their femininity to trap their victims. Even her kit is based around this idea and that is why even though Ahri is very sexualized she is not unnecessarily so as it fits her character. Ahri gets an A Akali Akali is based on a kunoichi and a Ronin(a samurai that left their group or master). A kunoichi is a female ninja that along with the normal ninja skills used their sexuality to get information or to make enemies let their guards down. She also takes some inspiration from the Yakuza. Her design isn't reflected as much ingame but it isn't necessary. Akali gets an A Anivia Anivia is not humanoid and as such isn't sexualized and is based on a phoenix but with ice powers instead of fire. Their is nothing explicitly wrong with her design but its rather boring. Anivia gets a B Annie Annie takes inspiration from Goldilocks. In my opinion she has one of the cleanest and best designs in the game. Annie perfectly reflects her childish nature but also shows that she has gone through a lot and a bit of her sadistic nature. Annie gets an S Ashe Ashe in my opinion is one of the worst designed characters in the game purely because her designs reflects nothing about her other then that's she is and archer that has an icebow. If you didn't see the background of her card are their would be no indication where she comes from and with the background all I can think about is how cold she must be without any warm clothes. Ashe gets a F for her lack of story or practicality in her design. Caitlyn For Caitlyn their isn't much to say she doesn't look like a sheriff though she does look like she comes from piltover. She looks like a Halloween costume someone would wear to look sexy. Caitlyn gets a C Camille Camille is a special case as she is technically the oldest human on the list but this is not reflected at all in design. The issue is that you cant change her design without changing her as a person. The only thing that bother me is that they said she was old but used cybernetics as an excuse to make her look young. Camille gets an A the people who decided to say she was Old without reflecting that in her design in any respect get and F. The only reason that makes me mad is that we don't have a true old lady in the game. Cassiopeia Cassiopeia; nothing much to say she's fine design wise she looks like she comes from Shurima but her lore says that the person that made her a snake lady made her ugly and I don't see ugly anywhere. Cassiopeia get a B because of the lore conflicting with her design. Diana I don't have anything to say about Diana I'm happy they didn't give her boob plates which is nice but she could stand to have better color variation. Diana gets an B+ because my issues are very minor. Elise once again nothing much to say she is a black widow and her design is fine. Elise gets an A Evelynn Evelynn is perfect everything about her design is reflected in her story and their is nothing conflicting , her sexualization is necessary to her story and, her design is near perfect. Evelynn gets a S. Fiora Fiora is a fencer and her build reflects that I just wish her art wouldn't break her back. Fiora gets an A Illaoi Illaoi is the thickest woman on this list and she deserves praise she is great my only issue is that her outfit is supposed to give the appearance of more of an hourglass shape and she is thinner in game. Illaoi gets an A This is just my first Batch of Opinions on the designs.

Woulda liked to see you critique the actual designs here you kinda just ask if the sexualization is "justifiable" or not which in my opinion is kind of shallow, but just in the opposite of Riot shallowly pandering to teenage boys.

The only one I didn’t agree with was the Camille one. I definitely agree that we do need a true old lady champ. We have zilean and ivern (I’m sure there are more) old man looking champs. But in respect to Camille, she underwent augmentations when she was still a younger woman because of this, primarily the hex crystal in her, it has kept her young looking. I know she isn’t 100% robotic but thematically I don’t think it would make sense to have this old looking person be your clan’s intelligencer swinging around taking care of business.

The idea behind Riot telling the Camille is old is to show that she will live pretty long and probably wont see her die of age anytime soon. I wound't say that they said that to fill the gap of a old lady.

Pretty sure Cass just thinks she's ugly and not meant to actually be ugly.

Velkoz and KogMaw are canonically male. The gender of every champion is specified in League's Universe website. I'd check it out, it provides a lot of useful information for champion design as well.
