Proposal for Minor Art Changes to Taliyah

Let me make one thing clear right away. I LOVE Taliyah's design. Her thematic is super interesting and her design reflects this quite nicely. However, not everything about her feels quite right, particularly her eyebrows. Let's be honest here. Eyebrows half as thick as they are wide isn't even human and more importantly, it does NOT mesh with the rest of League's style. She's Shuriman yeah, but so is Sivir. Not every champ has to look like a super model, I get that too, but such monstrously thick, stylized eyebrows does NOT fit with the League's art and that's why this is a problem to me. Look at any other human champ in the game and the difference in stylization just sticks out like a sore thumb. It almost looks like she belongs to a different game.

So here's my proposal: Riot should touch up her face, just a bit, and make her face more in line with other human face designs. She can still be her, absolutely, but I think a couple small changes would be a really good decision for everyone, again for cohesiveness. And yes, Riot has done this before. For instance, Katarina's initial updated splash had some negative feedback, and so Riot touched it up promptly. More recently, the same thing has happened with Fiora's rework last year.

The latter is a lot more cohesive with the rest of the art, no? Doesn't mean I'm asking for exactly that but it's just an idea. I'm expecting a lot of downvotes for this post (or to be ignored completely), but that's okay because everyone has a right to their own opinion, so I'm just sharing mine.

i'll admit the bottom one does look cute, but I feel it detracts from her rather than adds (which tbh is what actually happened). Yes her eyebrows stand out but that is the point. It is one of the few things appearance wise that makes Taliyah, Taliyah. Just giving her a more 'generic cute' face makes her get lost in-between everybody else and Riot has gone on record to state that they don't want to do that, especially with the female champs.

I prefer the original because that is who she was created as. Maybe in about five years when she needs a new splash they can get around to changing it. But for now the splash she has is fine.

I understand that the Easter Island face is arguably an aesthetic that is inkeeping with a earth-mage champ, but I feel this is a bit overboard.

I think people are taking this "issue" too seriously. Also, the difference between Riot adjusting Fiora and Kat's splash arts due to feedback is that those are pre-existing champions that have been a certain way for many years. Taliyah on the other hand is a brand new champion, so the way her face looks now doesn't betray what she is meant to look like because this is how she is meant to look like.

I think that the Poll should be renamed "Are you in favor of my potential minor art adjustment"

Instead of making anyone who thinks they are acceptable agree with you in this instance, or making anyone who disagrees with one instance disagree with all of them.
