What's going on in Draven's head?

Darius: Blood of Noxus - Comics - Universe of League of Legends

So recently I was thinking of The "Blood of Noxus" comic and the new lore that we got. So Draven supported Swain, he's a Noxian celebrity, he watched one of his best friends die and his unbreakable brother fall to his knees and hold her. I used to not think of Draven much, I just saw him as cocky and that's it. I'm curious now though. Draven was right there with Darius, does it happen often? What does he think about seeing his childhood friend die and seeing his brother so hurt by it? I immagine Draven hasn't seen Darius act like that, much. What does he think of family? Is Noxus more important? Is his popularity more important?

I probably wouldn't have any of these questions honestly if Draven was the talking when they met with Quill, but he only said something when we was asked a question. (of course he commented on the ships too, but that was more talking to Darius). I know we will probably get more lore on him in time, just curious if other people are looking forward to what more we get to see from Draven. Maybe Draven doesn't really care, is more focused on Draven, and saw all the events as just awkward rather than meaningful. We've already seen people call Draven a little dumb and maybe he is not super deep. I don't know, tell me what people think.

While we barely get any info on his inner thoughts,the look on his face did look like he was sad about her death,sure it wasn't as extreme as the reaction of Darius,but he still looked geniunly concerned. Though it is hard to say if this was because of the pain that Darius had to go through or if it was over Quillettas death,or both.

I think there are two possibilities with Draven with what we have right now.

Option 1 is that Draven is a pure joke character, like Mundo. He's got some backstory and world presence, but he mostly exists to make the players laugh and give a bit of levity to the dark atmosphere of Noxus. Much like Mundo, he's a dark character with a personality that prevents you from taking him too seriously, and it works.

Option 2 is that Draven has some hidden depths. This, I think, is more likely, given that the new lore seems to be drifting further from joke characters. Draven is close enough with his brother to stick by his side in battle, and even saves Darius from the assassin Quill sends to take him out. They're both sort of the closest things Swain has to "friends", which is a pretty tight circle. I think it's entirely possible that the "DRAAAAVENNNNN" persona is a stage gimmick, and that he's rather competent when it comes to open fighting. He's definitely cocky, but he's not an idiot, he's killed grown men as a child, if we can take the opening pages of Blood Of Noxus as a reference.

Given the character's general popularity with fans, I think it's very possible we'll see Draven play a more active role in the future Noxus lore.
