Can we get more Sion lore?

So just recently I just saw Ryze's Call of Power video and I was just amazed how well made that video was. I'm still wondering why someone as cool and powerful as Sion hasn't gotten that awesome Hollywood treatment? He's just dead inside and a little angry. Just like me. [sg-miss-fortune]

I just REALLY want to see Sion fight Galio, I'm so curious on what their fight would be like considering Galio's size and Sion's sheer undying power.

During his rework he had media about him unlike anything we'd seen before. They really stepped up their game now though.

someone as cool and powerful as Sion

well someone's gonna have to break the news to you i guess. He's not.

The one bad thing about riot's lore is that they gave in to the whole (demi) god/space dragon bs that plagues so much content (powercreep lorewise you might say even). Sion is just not very powerfull compared to the world he resides in. (i still think the lore is pretty good in general, just not a fan of "we're a bunch of all powerfull beings and zoe did it all for us")

Sion himself. Is he cool? I think he's a pretty cool character who has a more tragic side that's not really explored. But league's kinda oversaturated when it comes to the bigass warrior dude trope. The only thing that really sets him apart from the other buff bro's is that he's undead. and i feel like most people looking for an undead character either want something like karthus, pyke or thresh. And sure since pyke release he's still one of the only 2 who are "zombies" (as opposed to spirits and a lich) but he's more warrior dude than zombie.

I honestly don't know if ryze is popular or not but he's one of the original characters and lorewise one of the most important characters, who isn't allied with anyone or anywhere and thus can meet alot of other characters (ezreal for example can do this too imo) which leads to great cinematic material. But the most important thing is that his lore was outdated and he needed the new spot (think back to varus) in the world. Sion doesn't need new lore and got quite a bit of promo material on release, riot is alot more advanced at this point.

tldr:

He's not that popular or powerfull (compared to the world's strongest) and falls into quite a saturated group of characters. ryze Needed a new lore, like varus did and making stuff like this has most likely never been as easy for riot.

Honestly though, they need to finish up their lore updates so that we can get to one SOLID lore status. Once all the major reworks are done and we can move on to lore continuations rather than lore rectons and reworks that would be nice. Only problem is that there are a whole lot of voice lines in game that need changing. Once we can get to the point where our lore can move foreward like it did back in burning tides, where peoples lore moved foreward rather than restarted. That is the day leagues lore will really be good to go. Sion is one of many cool characters from Noxus, but he doesnt exactly fit in, especially with Swain as their new leader, he doesnt exactly seem like the type to allow a giant rampant monster with unsatiable bloodlust to be running around rather than directly under his thumb. Although I do agree, I want more Sion lore, frankly I want alot of lore, for everybody, the kind of lore that will let us see proper interactions between champions and see how their lore with each other changes their actual gameplay in reworks. But it is alot to ask to per say see, Nasus and Renekton getting reworked at the same time when they finally meet in the lore and fight, and say Renekton loses and is severely injured. He maybe lost an entire arm and replaces it with a weapon of some sort. Thats just my opinion on it, and I know lore is no reason to create the balancing nightmare of reworking champions that are balanced just for the sake of story progression. On top of that there would have to be alot of time, effort, money, and everything else poured in for one massive update where all the lore and whatnot is solidified at once. So as much as I would love to see lore progression like that I know it isnt feasible and likely will never happen. TLDR : Lore progression tied into reworks in a style similar to burning tides and the Akali rework is cool, but will likely never happen, and is very unreasonable. Also, sorry I got way off topic. Give us more Sion & Noxus lore, that stuff is cool.
