MY main man SWAIN gets no LOVE wth!!! ... everyone gets a rework and VU and skins but what about my main man SWAIN dudes got 4 skins total including default.. and his loading screens on his current skins arent even anything but zoomed in versions of the pictures that look liek they were drawn in crayon ... swains been around since the beginning SHOW MY MAN SOME LOVE you not even including him in any of the THEMES either ... like galactic , darkstar, penatkill etc ... poor daddy swain poor poor daddy swain ... does no1 love him anymore ?? cuz im perfectly cool with being the only 1 .. i mean cmon hes master strategist and a Noxus GRAND GENERAL does this mean nothiing !!

...Warwick and Galio was release before Swain and they have been basicly ignore since forever. Swain can wait his turn.

ww and galio are gettin reworked as we speak and well see in the next month or so ... doesnt change teh fact swain has 3 skins... mind you they both been included into themes.. ww got maurader n galio debonair ... swain has yet to join one

I mean there hasn't been a single confirmation made for who is after Galio. But if we're going to start the rumor mill; i would say that Evelynn could be the next major rework after Galio. I just don't know if giving her a premature lore update signifies that or not. But it kinda feels like it.

Edit: And it would be a huge kick to the balls for any old timey Eve mains if they had to wait longer still especially after that tease.

When swain gets a rework

you'll suddenly start missing the old wonky but charming crappy swain model, and his old skills

Chances are they'll change his R so that he'll only have 1 crow (Beatrice. Imagine if Quinn threw multiple valors at people) and his drain will be replaced by tethers or something

well it could be a buff :P

If he had multiple tethers each healing and doing damage per second instead of a limited amount of crows per second it could benefit him a lot

Also I don't get how transforming into a crow monster and running into the enemy team makes him a tactician :P

first of all thats a personal opinion and i highly doubt it ... if they get the same team that did yorick to rework swain he ll be a friggin boss and swains R already has a stipulation in the fact that a Crow cant hit the same target for 1sec . altho thats not long you still only gettin hit every other sec wich is doable considering its not really bursty more dot like.

Uhm no,Swain wasn't around since the beginning,he was released several months after season 1 already started.

Also Riot said that one big factor for deciding who will get the next big rework is how much these reworks are requested. Last time they gave us a list of the most requested reworks,Swain wasn't among the top-requests.(for the record,the top requests were Yorick Urgot Nunu Warwick Galio Singed Evelynn in that order,obviously this was posted before the yorick rework came out) http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/story-art/9czk9NzV-reav3-could-you-give-us-top-ten-of-a-requested-for-a-vgu-list-in-incoming-dev-blog

So swain is likely not even among the top 6 most requested reworks(the list is changing constantly,so there is a chance that he is now a bit higher on the list than before).

And as long as he doesn't get a VGU,he won't get any skins either,its simple as that.

thats funny considering ther putting even old models into themes ..... like debonair, marauder, warring kingdoms etc etc its much easier to make a skin then to rework a model ... your logic sounds flawed im not saying he needs a rework even tho is was mentioned he does (http://prntscr.com/dogs14) .. all im saying is some skin options would be nice (more then3 ) until that time comes ... so jump on the swain train... dont be pain or act lame or like a dame it would be a shame ...<3 Swain

The thing is that old champions who still get new skins aren't on the VGU list.

Champs like Corki Veigar or Olaf might have outdated models,but their gameplay isn't that bad,so they aren't on the VGU list and thus are able to get skins.

The problem with Swain is that his looks AND gameplay are outdated,which is why he landed on the VGU list. When Swain gets a rework,it'll be Sion-level,meaning they'll likely remake most of his kit,which in turn means that most skill effects for a new skin are going to go to the trash can once he gets a VGU,which would suck for both swain and the players. And depending on how his look changes,they might have to redo the entire model anyway(heck they'd likely have to redo 2 models anyway,since his bird-form would need a new model as well)

EDIT:As it turns out Corki is actually on the VGU list by now,though he likely wasn't on it,when the arcade skin for him was made.

imho i dont feel like his gameplay is bad at all but i understand what you mean and if thats teh case i guess ill have to wait till next year for any hope of my main man gettin notoriety or love .... and that upsets me

The factor you mentioned is the biggest but still one of many though.

Another factor that has a big impact on who will be the next in VGU is Unhealthy Gameplay/Themetic Mismatch

We can 1000 percent definitely say that Ryze was not selected to rework again by player request but because he had unhealthy gameplay. Just look at their reason in http://eune.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/community/q/ask-riot-chromas-and-champup

Swain is in this same boat as Ryze was before. While his lore indicates his identity as Master Tactician. His gameplay feels more like Warlock or Tanky Mage.

Anyway, there are other strong candidates who fit 'Archetype Potential' factor such as Pantheon as God of War and Irelia as Blade Dancer.

We will see who will be next in VGU soon this Jan. Urgot still my bet.

I think Ryze was mainly chosen because they still had some leftovers from his previous update(which was originally supposed to include a visual update,so they had already a small head start for that as well).

Just look at how fast Ryze was done. Yorick came out ~9 months after Poppy and Warwick will likely come out ~6-7 months after Ryze,but Ryze himself came out merely 3 months after Taric,only a third of the time they needed for Yorick.

As for Swain and his theme as a tactician: Personally I think they should try to make Swain fit the warlock AND the tactician theme,I mean its not impossible for a champion to have more than one theme,after all Azir fills the theme of the emporer,sand-mage,commander AND Ra-expy. Though I think a riot member talked about how one of the 2 themes is likely going to go away,but well nothing is set in stone.
