This kinda blew my mind last night. (A short story about Void)

As you all may know , **Rek'sai **was one of the latest champion that riot has released and an addition to the void family. That makes total of 7 void related champions on League of Justice.

So i was reading some articles about 7 deadly sins on wikipedia , i came across with "Sloth" one of the deadly sins. I thought Sloth was a sin of being lazy or not worshiping the gods but it turns out there is 1 more definition about it. "Sloth has also been defined as failure to do things that one should do. By this definition, evil exists when good men fail to act"- This line made me think a lot of stuff but i'm a LoL addict so Kassadin quickly came into my mind (Probably because i just read his Lore few hours ago) , how he failed to save his daughter from the void & how he wishes to stop the Voidling to even reach Runeterra. Same time Kog'maw reminded me of Gluttony. So out of curiosity i checked how many void champions there are in the league and surprisingly its 7. So i began reading information about both sides and here is my thoughts.

-Firstly Lets talk about Sloth as i mentioned above. Many of you might think its not suited for** Kassadin, The void walker** but the information i gathered from wikipedia indicates that its also a sin of Failure. So as it told in the lore of Kassadin , he "Failed" to save her daughter from the terrors of Void & thus he wishes to save Valoran from its curse , making him a good guy who failed to act quickly.

-Moving on to Gluttony. I don't think anyone needs an explanation on who i'm picking. Its Kog'maw, Mouth of the Abyss. I think his name proves why i call him the sin of consumption. He has , probably , the lowest intelligence out of all the other void related creatures & as his lore said "he explored the fruits of the strange world the only way he knew how: by devouring them"

-Up next is Greed , a sin of excess. I would like to pick Vel'koz , The eye of the Void because of what is written in the book , Greed is a great desire or pursuit of Material Possession. For him its "Mental" possession. Vel'koz came to Runeterra seeking more knowledge and he keep on searching for more information until all life for cease to exist , in other words greedy for more.

-On 4th we have Lust , the sin of desire. Its almost the same as greed but the only difference is it lacks the symbol of self-controlling. So i picked Kha'zix , the voidreaver , as he desires the absolute perfection in any means necessary. He will mindlessly attack every pray he thinks worth devouring in order to make his restless hunger for more power to complete. He will hunt for his entire life until he or every creature around him cease to exist just like Vel'koz.

-We came to the 5th sin and its** Wrath , the sin of Hatred and Anger. Wrath is also known as rage , so i picked Rek'sai , the void burrower**. Why ? because she is probably the most angry looking champion in league. Well jokes aside she is the Largest and the most "Fiercest" of her species & judging by the video Riot have posted she is always angry whenever some one walks over her territory as she endlessly pray who ever goes over it and establishing its "her" land.

-Next one will be about Pride, considered as the deadliest sins of all. So i choose Malzahar , The prophet of the void. He was one of the chosen one because he was blessed with the power of foresight. Little did he know void changed his fate upside down. Pride is considered the source of other sins so i came to a conclusion that "Pride"defines Malzahar because he is the one who released creatures from the void , such as Kog'maw and sacrificed Kassadins daughter for ritual. And He is seeking the destruction of Valoran , similar to what is written on wiki , "some one who desires to compete with the god"

-The last but not least is **Envy **, the sin of insatiable desire. Its the last and the only sin that i cant find a proper voidling. The last void creature i didn't mention is Cho'gat , The terror of the void . There are certain things that i can connect both of them. As Envy is a sin that wants you to deprive others from theirs , you can say Cho'gats is envy for creatures living in peace , thus he wants others to suffer or feel pain in order to satisfy himself , just like he says "I shall bring them terror". Addition to this he is possessing others lives in his hand ,"Death is not the end for you, I have seen to it. For eternity, you are mine!", killing every living things whenever he wants but its's just my thoughts.

So tell me what you think about my little story. I tried to make it short & simple so it wont be so boring & long to read & english is not my first language so i kinda have a limited vocabulary and grammar mistakes.

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day.

I really doubt there is a big connection to them, because lets be honest here, how high are the chances that rek'sai is the last void champion? The moment another void champ is introduced this whole theory will fall apart,so i doubt there is any connection there, especially since the connection between cho and envy is rather vague(i mean we don't know that much about cho'gath anyway,so it is hard to tell).

Also I'd say that vel would fit better for lust and kha'zix for greed, cause greed is desire for physical stuff while lust is more the desire for a non-physical things(like love, political power or knowledge in kozs case) opposing kha who wants to eat his enemies to gain more physical power.(in the end one could put both of them in either category).

Not to mention that gluttony is something that fits for almost all voidchamps, since they all eat Chogath &RekSai have both biting abilities KogMaw loves to eat Khazix eats to get stronger Velkoz disintegrates others to gather data(while not directly eating it is an abstract form of consumption)

One could say they all have a void in themselves that they are trying to fill.....

These can also be applied to the shadow isles.

To be honest the shadow isles champs are closer to that, but even then they more represent the nine circles of hell at the moment, most of the void champs are really boiled down to a singular Lovecraftian trope, the consumer. None of them have any of the really unique aspects, like shapeshifting, seeking domination through insanity (Possibly Cho, but still.), or just overall trickery.

This really is a stretch, just like people saying the Spongebob characters are based on the seven deadly sins.
