All New Skins

So I hope I'm not the only one but when I q up for a game and pick a champion that has a new skin releasing in the patch but, is not released at the start of the patch how come I can still see in when I'm in the lobby of a game when Im on the champion. For example elementalist lux when I pick lux I can see that her new skin was added I can click on it and it take me to the Overview but cant buy the skin. My god its like looking at a cup cake in a store having the money for the cupcake but when you go to buy the cupcake its the baker says you cant buy it yet. Riot if your going to let us see the skins let us buy the skins or don't let us see the skins until you actually release them Please I had the same problem with the star guardian ones please fix it thank you.[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Would players like skins to be released on Patch day? Most likely, yes.

Would Riot benefit from it more? Hard to say for sure (considering hype could fall over time), but I'd say that no, they wouldn't.

Why? Because with multiple skin releases at the same time, some newly-released skins might over-shadow other newly-released skins. I also think that even if players say that "their hype towards a certain skin had already died", the truth is that most players, if they really liked that skin, would buy it anyways, even if it was released a few days later than they had expected (or that is what I'd like to believe, at least).

Hype is part of the deal, for sure, but if someone really likes a skin, I don't think that a few days' delay would stop them from buying it (especially if it's a champion they really like as well), even when they are convinced that "their hype died" by now, I feel like hype is much more of a factor for buying a skin when it's comes with a teaser/promotion/first look on the PBE, than it is later. I could be pretty wrong though. :P
