Does anyone actually like Ezreal?

Disclamer: This is a personal opinion and I'm asking a question to the community so don't bring in downvotes like it's raining hate and participate to the discussion. Thank you.

I'm not talking about his kit (which I find engaging) but about the champion himself, his model/character. I find him extremely irritating as a character, an arrogant wanna-be coolkid. I've seen a lot of ppl playing any sort of ADC or making appreciation posts in the Boards but that never happened for Ez and this is why I'm asking

My opinion is that he could get a relaunch in terms of character and become a little more brave and less arrogant. There is plenty of space to deepen a character like him and that would make him likeable.

I don't like him. He's smug and cocky, which can be fun ( Draven Draven Draven ) but he just doesn't have the personality Draven does to make him fun.

His archetype is a little annoying, but I have an RL friend who has the whole, "I don't want the attention" sort of thing. So I'm not bothered by it.

Also, it doesn't matter how unlikable your character is, because almost no one gives a shit. Ahri has sex with people then steals then kills them, and Lux is a spoiled brat. People love to play them. I do, however, stray away from those champions, and play ones who are actually visually appealing (Renekton and Cho'Gath), and don't have annoying voiceovers and character traits. I really do wish there were more people like you.

I don't so much mind Ezreal's character, only because it fits with how i'd define prodigal. He's over-confident, and a little bit lazy as well. But lore-wise, he's still made some major discoveries, and he did map out all of the interconnected caves under Piltover with an unparalleled amount of detail. And, he's done a lot of digging that led to the re-examination of Aatrox and the Darkin species. Lore wise, i think he's fine, but he is also kind of arrogant and unreasonably self-assured

his ultimate skin persona is pretty cool.

as for his original self, im pretty sure he is meant to be arrogant. i mean his champ select quote is "time for a true display of skill"

his personality is similar to the flash. always so sure of himself and thinking he is the greatest hero, but i guess ezreal makes less jokes about it which makes him more unappealing than the flash? idk, but that arrogant side of him is surely intended.
