So, from what I understand, the Riot team has been trying to work the leauge out of leuage of legends. To make it less significant. This is fine and dandy(despite making the title make no sense) but what is the reason that these champions are fighting anymore? Any ideas?(by the way if this is the wrong board, fogive me; this is my first post)

This is a fairly major topic for lore-heads to complain about, actually, so this is definitely the correct board to post on. There is currently no lore-based justification for gameplay, so I've just stuck to the old League and Institute of War explanation for my own satisfaction and will continue to do so until some other justification is presented by Riot's writers. If you prefer your gameplay to have a strong foundation in lore, you might check out Factions, which is a community that writes their own old-style lore and drives a storyline by playing League matches between the major factions of Runeterra.
Why have you spelt League wrong 3 times?
I belive I misspelled it once. But for a site that has the words in it's name, thats still kind of bad :)
