Singed New Splash Art is awkward

So i just saw Singed's new Splash Art on the PBE. Something just looked wrong with it at first glance, then I realized what it is.

His same side legs and arms are going the same direction. What I mean is that while running, both his left arm and left leg are forward. And both his right arm and right leg are moving backwards. Have you tried running like that irl? I don't think that's very intimidating if someone ran like that towards you.

He's just feeling like a pretty ballerina. Don't judge him.

I think to fix this, they should animate his run-animation this way. Make his same-side arm and leg move in the same direction.

There have been a lot of very awkward things in the splash arts lately. I was very off put by the new Singed one and now I understand why. This is the same sort of issue that plagues the new Shyvana splash as well. broken or awkward anatomy.

Singed not walking properly and being very oddly shaped, and shyvana's hips now so wide and with a thigh gap it looks like her legs have been dislocated from her body to achieve the appearance.

I'm not sure as to why they're updating splash arts this way, but it's getting to be ridiculous. The only good one so far is the Akali but you can see her ribcage and she looks like she's starving.

Riot, just who did you hire to do these splash arts?

dunno i never look at how i run when running. I mean if you move your arms while running you don't think "oh no I shouldn't move my right arm and my right leg to the front at the same time, rather my left leg and my right arm"

Neither of his arms are really in front or in back, they're kind of just either bent in or at his sides, but I get your point.

What I noticed straight away was the weird foreshortening effect on his legs. His leg coming forward is larger in proportion than his leg going backward, giving the picture as a whole a sort of "twisted" look to it, which I actually think kind of works for someone like Singed. It's almost dizzying.
