New Illaoi Skin?

Right now the only choices are green and purple, and as an illaoi main, both of those are pretty lackluster. I'm not asking for pool noodles to come out of the ground but anything a little more creative please. Thank you.

I assume her next skin is already decided and/or in development, but a luchador skin for her would also be dope. Pool Party would be awesome too!

elderwood would be pretty neat, being some spin on a druid or something, spawning tree-like constructs

nightmare illaoi with body-horror spawns, like twisted limbs and stuff, might be too mature

something fire or earth themed would be great, too

Something goofy, like "Car Salesman Illaoi". Make the tentacles Airdancers, give her a tacky outfit, and some silly prop for her totem. Actually, along those lines, the OP's idea isn't too shabby - pool noodles, a tentacle-themed tropical shirt, and a beach ball for a totem.

I can imagine that Illaoi Illaoi skins would be hard, because you always have to consider the tentacles... I think you could get away with:

an Elderwood skin, where she becomes an Ent-like creature and her tentacles are enchanted vines/tree roots.
A Worldbreaker skin, it would also suit her.
Brands "Spirit-fire" theme, making the tentacles flaming hands.
Pool-party Illaoi, everyone is pretty much expecting this one.
Atlanean Illaoi, though it would need some form of differentiation from Pool-party.
an Infernal/Volcanic skin where her tentacles are tendrils of lava.
expanding the Eternum line with her, it's a little lonely with just Nocturne and Rek'Sai.
A chef-themed skin, let her love of barbecue be known!

Technological or ice-themes skins would have to be considered VERY carefully, because they're a bit of a stretch for her thematically.

Groovy Illaoi, where she's from an old timey cartoon (think old mickey mouse or cuphead as a more recent example)

Tentacles could be dancing flowers that slam face down for their attacks her Idol could be a bomb her test of spirit pull has to be a slide whistle cane pull like old vaudeville When people get vessel'd things turn super groovy as she pulls you into cartoon world and her ult has her blow up her bomb.

Honestly I just love the Groovy type of theme, I played toon monsters in yu-gi-oh and loved timeless river in kingdom hearts. Any type of skins in this sort of theme would be great.

An HP Lovecraft type skin. Not one where she's a crazed cultist, but one where she's dressed in a suit, coat, and hat. Her idol is a briefcase that leaks papers that form into the tentacles. Her recall could have the briefcase flying opening and her scrambling to shove the pages back in to seal away the secrets.

I think dunkmaster illaoi would make the most sense. the tentacles can stay generally the same, but i would think this skin could also be chroma'd and the tentacles would match the jersey color. could be sick. it also sort of fits her quotes. about like motion, and teaching lessons. like she is gonna school them and dunk on them in basketball lmfao one quote could be modified.

instead of " break hearts. I break spines" it could be "I break hearts, I break ankles" lol

The answer for that always seemed pretty obvious to me. Just put big foam fingers on the ends of the tentacles, like an adoring crowd.

Or, alternatively if it's a bit pricier skin, tiny skirts and pom poms on the ends for cheerleading tentacles.[slayer-jinx-wink]

Hextech Illaoi - Has Hextech turrets instead of tentacles that charge up and fire instead of slamming. Instead of an idol, Illaoi carries a massive Hextech cannon that she fires with her W. E could potentially project a hologram of the target instead of their soul, or something to that effect. Ult could either be a turret kit that she uses to instantly set up several turrets, or just slamming the cannon into the ground, creating a huge shockwave.

I have 2 thematic in mind when it comes to Illa ....

Infernal Illaoi

The tentacle will be Red with Black spike
The champ will be dressed in a full body red Inferal armor with lots of spike and living Fire texture running trougth it .... while her body apperance remain mostly humans she will feature big horns and white long hair partially hihded unher an helmet

.... For reference the Varusaburosu or Akantor Female bladmaster armors from MH series maybe be a good starting point of what i have in mind

Ripping your sould and summoning tentacle will never be more fitting XD

Soul Reaver Illaoi

Again most of the work will be on the champ. A dravenish attire with a full model rework changin illa in a Reper dressed in Blue and Black amor.
Thentacle will just follow the new main theme

I do not agree about the first two skins: the basic skin is good, the animations are cool and the phrases of the champion are really excellent! I think we have one of the characters whose story is the most worked! By cons I agree 100% for the lack of skin: when I see that Blitz will still have a skin, while Ilaoi has never had additional skin to the chroma starting! I wonder if another champion on LoL is also badly treated!
