Evelynn Login Screen
Alright, I am anticipating being down voted to oblivion for this one, but I'm hoping a dev sees it and it sparks a good discussion over at Rito.
I have been playing League since season 4. I have always enjoyed the game, and still do. Since starting to play, I have gotten married and have a family. I am very careful about the media that I have in my home. This is why I was discouraged by the Evelynn login screen that they released.
I understand the player base, I understand that my views are likely WAY more conservative than most of the players, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be heard.
I feel like having a login screen that is that...provocative...and having it be the only thing that the players can choose to look at when they start the game is not the best choice from a PR perspective.
I would love to see an option to turn splash arts and login screens family friendly. An option to have a login screen that is generic and benign. Additionally (though I know this is a long shot) I think it would be great to have an option to toggle off splash arts that are significantly revealing. (

, just to list a few) In game those skins are barely noticeable as the size of the characters and the action keep the focus on other things. Mainly I'm thinking of loading screens and in the client. Almost like parental controls, as silly as that sounds.
Again, I know this is definitely not a popular opinion, and this is probably pretty low on any of the Riot employees list of concerns, but it would make me and I'm sure at least one other person happy to feel like they don't have to worry about what their wife or kids sees when they walk in on them unwinding after a day of work.
As League has been out for quite a few years now, they have to realize that there is a good portion of their player base that is growing up, getting married, and starting life, but doesn't want to loose out on this game that has been so much fun and been the medium in which so many memories have been created. I think this change would be a good step toward retaining some of us players who are still kids at heart, though they have little kids of their own.
Alright, let the downvotes roll.
