Ranked Emblems Look Messy and Underwhelming

I recently got plat and was so pleased that I was able to get there after being placed in silver II playing mostly solo support Braum Bard Thresh

But when I went to look at my profile I was disappointed in the quality of the badge/emblem and felt somewhat underwhelmed when the gold logo transformed to platinum. With the new slick honour system as well as the new and improved client overall it felt pretty weak. The edges aren't smooth, the shadows and highlights aren't crisp, the colour seems somewhat 'dirty', unclear and dull. If you look at your profile overview and compare the your honour to your rank, it feels like your eye is more drawn to the honour level. It makes it feel like it a more important and respected accolade because of its aesthetic detail. Platinum V isn't even symmetrical with details being off centre and slightly out of place.

I know it may be nitpicking but it feels like I'm more proud to show off my honour level thank my rank as the aesthetic is a lot more professional. I think it's pretty important that the ranked emblems/badge need to be revamped as, for most of the player-base, your solo queue rank is what we play for, it's how we show off our skill level and brag to our friends, and I think for something as important as our rank, we deserve a cleaner and sleeker emblem to show off, which feels respectable and rewarding to earn.

What do you think?

Riot is updating the ranked system next preseason by adding in two more tiers, so hopefully they'll update the icons for all of them.
