Could you use the chance for Legendary skins to update old dialogue?
Title isn't as clear as I wish, so let me go into detail: As you know, up until now (because the CampUp team seems to have moved into a new working pattern for the better in the end) Champion Updates have basically four categories:
-Audiovisual and Gameplay Update (New voice, new model, new kit): Sion, Poppy, Gangplank, etc. -Visual and Gameplay Update: Shen, Fiora, Viktor -Visual Update: Maokai, Renekton, Alistar -Gameplay Update/Class Update: Juggernauts, ADCs, Mages
In this case, let us focus on the second and third categories: Those are usually old champions, who are most likely to get, sooner or later, Legendary (or Ultimate, why not) skins. As many of you know, due the nature of the scope of those updates, new animations and voiceovers are not looked upon. However, after taking a look at PROJECT: Yi or Omega Squad Teemo, I realized how the release of higher tier skins that require new voice lines could help Riot take a chance at recording new lines for old champions on the same session. I know it's more money, but it saves you some extra job for later.
Thus, you could update those champions that need new VO lines badly (Shen and Fiora, I look at you) or that have voice inconsistencies (Renekton, they changed the VA and some dialogue sounds weird because it's not cohesive), while, possibly too (why not) take the time to add new animations where needed (basically jokes, taunts and Recalls).
Is this something you guys would consider? There are some really bad offenders in the game right now, and if you're aiming at doing full VUs from now on on most cases, I think it should be a great opportunity to finally update that batch of guys, leaving them in a better spot, saving you extra job in the future.
