My take on Fiddlesticks' new lore

This is my take on what Fiddlesticks' new lore would be.

"Mankind's strongest emotion is fear, and it's time for me to show mankind true fear."

Fiddlesticks is a monstrous magical aberration brought to life ages ago after his master's life was abruptly taken. Now filled with his master's malice and hatred, he roams across Valoran looking for his master's killer while bringing fear upon anyone that comes across the walking hay-man.

LORE:

Years after the Grey Order brought civilization upon the petrified Voodoo Lands, a small family of Kuttner had built a farm to sustain enough food for them to live on. Life in the Voodoo Lands was never easy as crows tend to fly to their farm and feast on their crops like a swarm of locusts. The father, Henry Kuttner, had built scarecrow after scarecrow, but each one failed to fend off the murder.

One day, the only daughter of the family, Salina Kuttner, built one herself and, miraculously, stopped the crows from eating the crops. Salina has made the hay-man with love and affection, so she decided to give it a name, Fiddlesticks. Every day, Salina would talk about her day with Fiddlesticks, thinking that it's listening to every word she said. She's always been alone at the academy and was considered an outcast since her very first day. No matter how hard she tried to make a friend, Salina was left in the dust the very next day. Having Fiddlesticks by her home protecting her crops made her more comfortable and secure, feeling like she actually had a friend.

Years went by, Salina graduated from her academy and learned much of the dark arts. Highly skilled and considered one of the brightest students they ever had, though she possessed much hatred and rage within her after being constantly bullied during her time in the academy. Ever since her father passed away, she was left in the care of the farm, Fiddlesticks included. That scarecrow looked like it was thrown in a bloody typhoon after all these years. With time to spare, Salina decided to patch her old friend up, giving a few accessories like an antique silver key, a hangman's rope she found the other day, her lucky orange neckerchief, a new sack head and gloves, added more straw, fixed up the holes in his clothing, and even gave him a scythe to give off a more intimidating appeal.

Even after the hard work she has done to patch up old Fiddlesticks, she feels unsatisfied with the results. Salina's a grown woman now and is expected to accomplish greater things in life, but she can't leave Fiddlesticks behind. He's been the only friend she ever had throughout her miserable childhood. She had an idea. Another day, she found a forbidden reanimation spell from one of Gregori Hastur's grimoires when she was visiting him for evaluation. Still holding onto the torn page, she gathered all the ingredients she needed to bring her old friend to life; a cup of Blackshade, one shining bulb from a Kumungu Starflower, ashes from a mummified corpse, and a single drop of blood of a Noxian; she included her own blood. Since she and the Grey Order were formerly from Noxus, this would suffice.

Placing the contents into the lantern, she strapped it around his waist and recited the incantation. She was ready to bring Fiddlesticks into the world of Valoran. The spell quickly faded and ceased as she finished the enchantment, something's wrong. Salina both checked the ingredients and the page to make sure everything was in place; she tried it again but it failed. Aggravated, she blamed the ingredients for being too dry, possibly putting too much ash into the concoction.

She later left for Bilgewater to find fresher ingredients for the spell, visiting every shady marketplace without attracting too much attention from its denizens, though strangely she didn't attract that much attention for some reason. Most of Bilgewater were panicking, screaming and running from something. She turned and came face to face with a colossal wave of mist as dark as death, ghouls were howling from the black clouds as the poor citizens were succumbed to the monstrosity. Salina followed the running group, but felt something snagged onto her shoulder; a large, ethereal sickle hooked with ghostly chains gutted through her shoulder-blade. All she heard was a menacing cackle Thresh from behind as she can feel her soul being ripped from her mortal shell. Her agony howled through the night like a haunting melody, feeling the darkness closing in around her.

Her tragic death have triggered something. Back at the farm, the lantern around its waist has started to give an eerie glow. The hay-man's eyes has started glowing as well, the essence from the spell has finally ignited. All of Salina's inner rage, hatred, pain, and her moments with the scarecrow flow through its wooden limbs, unleashing a ear-piercing wail as he felt the agony of his deceased master - Fiddlesticks is alive.

Like a newborn baby, the risen scarecrow is completely unaware of his surroundings, confused and lost without the mentoring from Salina. Struggling to balance himself on his wooden stilts, he lifted his scythe and ventured out into the wilderness, oblivious towards anything that comes his way. The Voodoo Land is as desolate as what his master described, outside the farm lies a vast wasteland far from civilization. As curious as he was, Fiddlesticks wobbled towards the direction to where his master use to go. As he traced her fading steps through the wretched barrens, the crows have grown a liking to him. He doesn't know why, but wherever he goes, they follow. The flock have perched upon his shoulders to accompany the walking scarecrow as he continues to search for his master across the Voodoo Land. During his journey, Fiddlesticks discovered that the glow of his lantern is slowly dimming. As it dims with each passing day, he gets weaker; if he continues any further without any source of sustenance, he will die.

Then, a stranger came. A nobody from the outskirts of his town found Fiddlesticks on his wooden knees, planted into the dry soil. As the man inched closer, he realized what he had found. Fiddlesticks rose from the ground and stood over the frightened soul. Tried to show that he means no harm, Fiddlesticks feebly grabbed his lantern and showed it to him. The lantern shook and blasted forth a cone of magic upon the man; he screamed in agony as his life is being drained away into the trinket. He later stopped writhing and lied on the dirt lifeless while the scarecrow was revitalized with new-found energy. Like a child, Fiddlesticks has discovered something new about himself; from draining the essence from a mortal, he can replenish himself.

Whatever dark magic Salina has brought upon Fiddlesticks, it has later corrupted the scarecrow to commit such heinous crimes just to prevent himself from being scarce of life energy. This energy has later converted into dark magic that has empowered his trusty scythe and his feathered friends. Everywhere he goes, people have evaded the walking monstrosity, many lives have been taking by him while feeding the corpses to his murder. His discovery in bringing fear upon the mortals has given him much joy, filling him with glee from watching them scream and flee in terror. Just the mere presence of the hay-man has given terrible chills down everyone's spines. Fiddlesticks, once a lifeless scarecrow, has found a dark purpose: bringing fear upon Valoran and engulfing the world with his flock, all while searching for the being responsible for his master's death. No matter how many lives he has taken, it will not fulfill his thirst for vengeance. Though he is his own being, the fond memories shared by Salina are still inside him. The bond between Salina and Fiddlesticks is so strong it has formed a spiritual path for him to follow, hoping one day he'll find the killer and make him pay, even if he has to slay anyone that dare crosses the Harbinger of Doom.

Really nice, but I dont think this would work, it doesn't describe fiddles background almost at all. Where did he come from? Why is he in the field? The brothers story was cool, but not lore worthy.

Really nice. But personally it thinks it would be more interesting if Fiddlestick didn't just wander around but instead sought to find and rescue or avenge his creator, his friend. He would be imbued or drove by her rage and despair, and because of their link, he would follow closely on the steps of the Warden.

Didn't you make another post like this with the same title, but that lore just described what he was instead of giving a story about him?

I mean, the lore pretty much contains everything BUT Fiddlesticks. We didn't learn anything about him. We didn't learn why he's just chilling there. Honestly, not that much of a lore piece. You've just given us generic monster scarecrow guy.
