Heartseeker Yuumi Skin Spotlight - Pre-Release - League of Legends

So the new Heartseeker skins are coming out, Jinx and Yuumi. They're both pretty cool, and Yuumi is really cute, but what I'm interested in is Yuumi's recall. She opens up the book and there's a heart with 2 people on it, a muscular guy and a girl with a scar. I know people have been thinking that Garen and Katarina are a thing, and a few other champion quotes support it, but does this mean that its finally canon?
