Color Coded Comparison Picture for Ease-of-reading! Yay colors!

So, I woke up this morning excited to see Tristana was getting a visual upgrade. However, it quickly faded when I actually SAW her upgrade pictures.

"New and improved" Tristana just doesn't really....look like Tristana to me. I made a comparison pointing out what I find to be the biggest things wrong with the "new" Tristanna.

TL:DR Old Trist was armored badass who crunched your face with her badassery, new Trist is punk rock poser.

Thoughts?

I personally love it. I always viewed Trist as a sort of Yordle little sister of Jinx and they really nailed it with the update.

Also, they had to flesh her out as a Yordle (which they did great - there are distinct, yet subtle, features), because they opted to remove the "Megling" race/thing. They nailed the entire resourceful, clever, cheeky Yordle look perfectly.

Riot said they will update the splash art to match the rework, they just wanted to update it before because she was commonly picked in LCS (cause that's all they care about) and wanted to get the ugly one out of the way

I get it that some will like , some will not, but to me this oversized eared fairy rat is one of the most ugly , stupid looking models ive ever seen in the league , she looks even more prancingly stupid than lulu and that's saying something

tbh , there are champs that I just simply hate playing because of how they look, the voice , etc. just annoy me (good example is teemo I just hate everything from his voice to his animations)

pretty sure tristana will now be another unplayable champ for me, think they are even changing her voice ugh

idc not like shes overplayed a lot but I definetly hate her VU , yuck

Why did they waste their time on this? It honestly looks like a season 3 champ to me. I mean, obviously the splash is going to look better, but the one on the right looks very blah.

First off, they are going to update her splash art. Second off, she looks amazing. She looked fat before, and now she just looks more like a yordle, or at least the new yordle, the one who is more humanlike. I absolutely love it.

Her VU and E rework is a success by definition. DOT and Grievous Wounds together without using itemization is insanely toxic because heals are meant to counteract that (usually because sheilds don't last long enough). In addition, she now gets some personality besides an even more one dimensional Jinx. Plus she's fucking adorable, I mean, look at her!

They said she was getting a new splash. Also, someone doesn't really change with how they look. The new Tristana for me at first was eh, but now I like it now.

Yeah it's been said they will be painting over the splash to reflect the changes.
