As an aspiring writer, I must say that these last few stories have been top notch! They make me want to play. They make me want to write. How can I get to your level?

You seem easy to please.

Granted, the story content that Riot has produced recently has been pretty ok...but you think it is "top notch"... really? I expect that you don't read much, or are heavily biased.

I love LoL, but you're dreaming buddy. Let's be realistic here. Riot's recent lore productions aren't anything special. If you're an aspiring writer interested in fantasy, I'd recommend reading the works of Jim Butcher. His work honors traditional fantasy while providing a modern setting for it to develop in interesting ways. But let's get back on point.

Have you actually compared LoL's literary content to that of its competitors? It's much closer to average than "top notch". Sadly Heroes of the Storm probably beats LoL in terms of character lore, as it draws from variety of lore rich games, whereas Riot seems to be eager to leave it's lore legacy in the dust, rather than embracing it.

Heck, Smite's lore gives LoL a pretty good run for it's money.

I'm a pretty big lol fan, but seriosly, from a literary perspective, its lore significantly declined in the last few years. Most of it isn't even functionally correct with itself anymore. What's Jax's Backstory again? Oh that's right, there is no cannon lore for Jax at the moment. How messed up does a Moba have to be to lack cannon lore for one of it's characters, heck not just one, but many? Riot's strategy for creating decent lore for it's current character line up is a complete fail. I don't even know why most of the characters are fighting.

Although I will agree though that the gameplay Is still topnotch when it comes to MOBAs though.
