So I was wondering why Yorrick's rework was actully a viable kit while morde is still shit and can't really find a fitting place for himself. And I was also wondering why yorrick can actually play his guitar with one his emotes and it playss music meanwhile Morde is just chilling with a mute guitar on pentakill morde.
Mord didn't get the full VGU he deserved. Back then they thought they could fix him with fewer resources more quickly.
They have since stopped doing such medium size updates in favor of either roster updates (when appropriate) or full VGUs (like Yorick) if the champ needs more than a roster update would give them.
because morde didnt get a VGU he was part of the juggernaut update, thrown in with skarner darius and garen (plus illaoi got released the same patch), it didnt get much attention from the devs, not much resources and he still needs a visual update. Yorick was under work for lots of time, and got a VGU, 2 very different things
They thought that a group update would be enough for Morde and they were wrong,thats really all there is.
Now they are a bit more careful about choosing which champs can get a roster update and which ones need a full VGU,thats for example why

won't get big changes during the assassin update because they don't want these champs to be Morde 2.0.
It's because they thought they could refit morde into this niche role and that it fitted in well with the rest of the juggernaut update.
I am wondering why you spell "Yorick" with an extra R.
