A question about the darkin

Gonna go with no.

Well from what we know about purifying magic, it takes a whole heaping sh1t ton of love to purify some grass.

So for a Darkin to be purified they would have to be, I don't know, relatives or maybe lovers to produce enough love to purify a Darkin.

The problem is we already got the star crossed lover Darkin. It's Varus, and the love between Valmar and Kai is keeping them from being completely taken over by Varus.

So I suppose if you were going to purify a Darkin you would need a pair of siblings, probably from Demacia, as that is the only major sentimental without a Darkin. Then when one sibling is being taken over by the Darkin, the other sibling could try and fight them to get the weapon away from them. The fight ending up killing the other sibling. Then we can have one sibling with a purified Ascended god warrior in a weapon, and the other sibling could be resurrected as a corrupted human with Ascended and Darkin properties.... No wait sh1t, that's Kayle and Morgana.

Well the thing is Darkin are somewhat crazy because the Void has twisted their minds, it made them sick.. Once the Void is involved its pretty hard to get rid of its effects so in the sense of purifying they cant be but if youre talking about something that comes close to it, its reversing their ascension which myisha did to one Ascended but he was willing.. I dont understand too much about that but maybe there is a chance for them to get better at least or to be stripped of power
