While I was looking at the splash for PROJECT: Leona skin, I noticed a single, lighter and grayer, line streaming down from where Leonas eye should be. Was this just coincidence or is she crying? I know skins dont always have lore to them, but what happened here if she is crying? Did she fail to protect someone? Is this new programming forcing her to take life? Does she miss being full human? @Ironstylus @otherartists
I don't know for certain if she's crying or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. PROJECT isn't (despite Leona's presence) all sunshine and smiles. It'd be nice to hear more about that world.
I think they're still on for releasing them on 9/8, right? Not too long now.
If you look at her helmet and the top of her chest plate it looks to be raining. Does this mean that she isn't crying? No, but it seems more likely the case that with the rain you would see some of it on her face.

That could be sweat, you know.
It could also be a trail of rainwater. (I-I'm not crying, it's just the rain, honest!) Her armor looks pretty wet in that image.

Probably a slew of reasons why leona should be crying. I doubt the binding process would be fun either. Assuming they are semi organic (people bits covered in robot bits) whatever zaunian scientist made them probably wasn't too worried about whether they were in pain or not. He really just wanted the best fighters made into cyborgs to do his bidding.

It would make sense. As can be seen in the video, as well as PROJECT: Yi's voice-over, the Project skin line is actually pretty disturbing. These are all once great heroes being turned into weapons, and being wiped of free will. I assume, like the others Leona is trying to fight it.
She misses Diana.

Crying Wolf was the scout and sniper of the Beauty and the Beast Unit. Her speed as a quadruped and extremely tough shell made up the brute force of the unit. Wolf, along with the other members, suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, expressing extreme sorrow in battle through her eternal crying.

I do't think it's actually tears, I think it's like a cover for their face, and that's where it was joined. There's similar marks on Fiora.
