The Problem With Limited Skins, and How to Solve It (?)

Championship Riven is one of the most sought after skins in League of Legends without a doubt, along with UFO Corki, Riot Singed, and of course, the three PAX skins. While it is not necessarily the splash arts or particle effects that make these skins so enticing (except in Championship Riven's case IMO), their rarity, being that they are limited, make them a prized gem to those who are fortunate enough to have received one.

This feeling of owning a skin that almost nobody else has I'm sure is an amazing one, and while I think its great that Riot has implemented this feeling on a lot players who played League since around the beginning of it's creation, as a newer player myself, I honestly find it highly unfair that I will never be able to share the same feeling. Now before people start accusing me for being a crybaby just because I was not there to get these skins, please hear me out: The problem with limited skins is that Riot stopped making them (for the most part). Apart from the annual victorious skin and the two recent Refer-A-Friend skins, Riot has not released any new limited skins that newer players such as myself can grab and cherish for ourselves.

Why was it that only players from season 1-3 were allowed to easily obtain skins (Such as Urf the Manatee Warwick that could be bought for a cheap 500 RP) that are now impossible to own? Why is it that if you just recently started playing League, your only chance of ever having a rare skin is to get the yearly Victorious skin or to win a pick-em tournament with the same odds of winning as a lottery? (Only one person successfully won the pick-em tournament in 2015). I have absolutely no problem with Riot keeping the current limited skins as unavailable forever (Well, I really want Championship Riven, but I'll live without it I guess....) , as I believe those who own them should be allowed to bask in their own glory.

I only ask that new limited skins (that are not nearly impossible to obtain) be released for us newer players, so that everybody has the opportunity to have a rare (or what will eventually become rare) skin. This would not take away the value of the current limited skins as they would still remain unobtainable, and therefore, would be a really good idea in order to allow players who have just found League, the chance of obtaining their own personal gem.

This is my first time ever posting anything on this website, please be lenient and, if you downvote, please tell me why :3 Also, I was told to put this in the "Story, Art, and Sound" section, I do not understand how this fits here but I will do what I am told. I hope this can actually make a difference in the future and allow newer players the same experience that original players were able to have.

*P.S. If it was not obvious, I really want championship RIven :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Long story short; It is possible for some Limited skins to return in some way. CS Riven, for example, was offered as a prize for making a perfect pick in the Worlds Pick'em (guessing the winner of every match in the Worlds Championship).

A rioter said that CS Riven would be coming back to the store sometime in 2016.

The more disheartening thing about Limited Edition skins in my opinion is when wide-appeal concepts are used on such skins.

I might want Championship Riven, or Riot Singed and so on, but the fact that their belong to special lines help soften the blow a bit.

On the other hand, Medieval Twitch and UFO Corki are skins that are not tied no any special line or event, and it's sad knowing that I will never have them.
