So it was recently brought to my attention that Summoners are no longer canon in LoL. I took off like 3 years so I was unaware. That being said, I played a game the other day as MF. One of her voicelines is "Think you can handle me summoner?". Now, I have always loved this voiceline BUT if it is true and Summoners are no longer canon, it's a bit confusing.

Riot is a small company that barely survives. They can't do simple updates often.

there are a lot of old champs with voicelines that have to do with the old lore. We've just learned to live with it and hope it just gets fixed in the future. Right now though I think its no big deal.
