Hi guys !

I was watching the new Splash Arts for the incoming PROJECT skins, and I'm literally IN LOVE with them. But while watching Katarina's splash, I saw something. I saw Battlecast Vel'koz !

For me it is clearly Battlecast Vel'koz. Red eyes, mechanic tentacles... Yes, it's him. But why is he in there ? I don't know. Let me guys know what do you think about it. And please, tell me that I'm not crazy !

Here is the first Splash Art for PROJECT: Katarina that we saw and that was linked. Battlecast Vel'koz wasn't here yet.

Battlecast and project (and mecha I believe) exist in the same alternate universe.

Well yeah, he turned on the others for power, that was show in the cinematic. So basically it's Project: for humanity Battlecast: for Machines Project Zed: for power.

PROJECT: Katarina seems to be on Zed's side to as you can see him in her splash art.

Some guy actually took the Splash Arts for the original 6 and connected them. I don't know how to link to the image, but scroll down and it should be there.

It shows Zed is actually still with Yi and Lucian.

It was something they mentioned in a dev blog on skins and themes from a while ago. Kinda like how neon strike and super galaxy are in the same universe (which is different from the project/battlecast universe)

Its a cool detail, i guess that it confirms that the Battlecast line and the PROJECT line happen in the same Universe

Its because Project vs Battlecast fight for humanity's future. Except Zed, hes power hungry and turned on the others

Im not sure that that cinematic was cannon.

It might have just been some cool cinematic.

Perhaps it's you know. One side of the city being under attack by PROJECT Kat and Zed; while Viktor and his Battlecast team too the other side.
