Okay, let's talk about Trundle, the Troll King's new skin.

As soon as I saw it, I immediately thought about Detritus, from the Discworld Series. http://i.imgur.com/HfG7g1R.jpg

Now, before you mention how they don't look alike, I know. It's a figurine model and it's probably fan-made so it doesn't have to be accurate in any way.

But lore wise? Detritus is a troll, who used to carry a big club around and became an Acting-Constable when the Anhk-Morpork City Watch was created. As soon as I saw the skin, I thought it was an obvious fan service and reference and got really excited, but scrolling through the comments, I started believing I might have been wrong, seeing no reference to the book series.

Thoughts? (Sorry if this is not in the right section of the boards, I'm very new to this)

Really they seem to be doing a cops and robbers thing with Trundle, Volibear, Twitch, and Evelyn. This does not mean it is not a reference to discworld, though. It's actually pretty likely. Good spot.

Honestly, if it were old trundle it would be more likely.

Overall, I think it's VERY subtle but yeah, why not :D

Everybody loves discworld. Fun fact: In the live action moving Going Postal, the man who plays the Patrician is also the man who plays Tywin Lannister.
