My Idea on a new lore for Taric

I got one I hope you guys might like, also this is my first time writing this kind of thing so any constructive criticism is welcome: During his travels among the lands of Runeterra, Taric had the misfortune of running into Lissandra, after a long and fierce battle she cast him inside a prison made of true ice and was left to die, but unbeknown to Lissandra, the willpower of the gem knight was far stronger than the magic cast upon him, he used the might of earthen magic to break free of his icy tomb, but as he was catching his breath, he began to feel a stronger connection with the earthen magic of Runeterra since being summoned from his home-world, and he set off to forge a new set of armor to attune to this new strength of earthen magic, and with this power he vowed to Preserve and Protect any ally in need.

The institute of war never existed thanks to the retcon,thus taric being summoned from a different world wouldn't make sense(not that it made that much sense to begin with).

And tbh,I don't see areason to make a story between taric and lissandra,I mean Lissandra is already the bad guy for a lot of champions Ashe Anivia Tryndamere Sejuani Udyr & Braum and probably Gnar & Trundle (Brand was imprisoned in ice and she lists him as an enemy,volibear had a vision that may be related to her,trundle doesn't like to work for her(and might be the troll that fell into her trap) and while she probably never met gnar,she serves the watchers who were most likely the ones that attacked gnars family). The only people from the freljord who don't seem to have her as a personal enemy of some sort are Gragas Olaf and maybe Nunu (although nunu was once a member of the frostguard that ran away from them due to their cruel nature,so that one is arguable)

The official site lists Taric as a friend of skarner and Sona,thus I'd say that his lore could relate to that.

Funny enough, the lore there had a simple enough lore for him: He learned the power of gems through his father, and he built up his skill with healing. Only thing that needs a touch-up would be more of his personal life; ambitions, relationships to other champs, etc. That's the only thing in the original lore that wasn't explained (IIRC, he enjoyed talking to people, but never went into his personal life)

The jarring thing about tarics lore was in my opinion not the way it portrayed him,but the fact that taric came from a completely different WORLD and that we didn't get any info about this world at all. It was just a footnote and looked like a cheap excuse for his origin.

Based off the information of Skarner and Sona, I have an idea:

Taric Bevulle is a noble and Knight-Captain of the Demacian Military; Due to his family's nobility as some of the finest jewelers in Valoran, Taric was stationed at the Lodestone Mining Consortium #1 in Kalamada before the events of the Battle of Kalamada. When the mine collapsed (from unbeknownst sabotage), Taric and the other miners were stuck beneath a number of the giant crystal shards they were foraging. Taric, being the guard of the camp, kept order in the mines, and acted as a beacon of hope for the trapped miners managing the underground operations of the rescue. One day during the rescue, Taric heard a faint shimmering tone for deep in the mines. He left the miner's "camp", and went to check on what it was. Deeper and deeper he went, traversing through endless narrow paths, until he came across a massive crystal cavern to a faintly glowing stone that was humming to him. Taric cautiously stepped toward the stone, wondering what it could be. The moment he touched the stone, an ancient magic imbued Taric with unknown powers: He was able to manipulate the crystals all around them, and imbue himself with their energy. Taric returned to the underground camp, and, with ease, magically lifted the giant crystal out of the pit, and freed the camp. Taric returned to Demacia a hero, but still ponders what his newfound powers could do. (Inevitably, he and skarner became good friends due to their crystalline connection, and is willing to help him protect the crystal scar from those who would wish to defile it's untold riches and power.) Also to note: Taric would be like a relative cousin to Sona, and his Aunt could be Lestara Bevulle.

I think that would tie it all together in a non-summoner-tastic manner! Taric Skarner Sona

I actually posted a similar idea myself. the only difference is that he turns over to Lissandra and acuires a true ice armor and becomes her protector. and he was sent by the watchers to support Lissandra. so well almost the same idea i guess
