I unpacked all the files for Star Guardian Ahri Announcer pack

Why can't we just freaking buy the announcer packs like in every other single moba that offers more announcer options? (Dota, Hon, etc). League should be the 1st moba that allowed us to do that but still they stay like that

As best I know, Riot doesn't like people modding the client, but as long as it doesn't provide an ingame advantage it's not specifically against the rules.

That said, there are stories of people getting auto-flagged by the client mistaking mods as hacks, and Riot's said that if something goes wrong as a result of you modding the game you're on your own.

No, this is not illegal. But it is a use on own risk-area. Under the general (and obvious) "if it screws up your client, that's on you"-notion. And sharing/linking to something not illegal is not illegal either. But a use on own risk-disclaimer would be recommended, just in case some wanna-be modder kid messes up the installation and goes full-QQ to Support over a non-functional client.

Personally, I've used mods, including VO ones, for years, and outside fatal bugs found under testing, I'm still here, without a single warning or worse for "3rd party software" (which is needed to install these things), simply because what I am doing has been within the written "grey area" legislations.

Last i knew as long as it doesn't provide a in game advatage it is tolerated. doesn't stop the automated system from tagging it every couple of months though.

Riot isn't fond of it but if it's just the announcer you should be fine

AFAIK you can safely switch the sound files/art files. I played with custom loadingscreens/ingame portraits for a while myself and had no issues (unless i forgot to crop an image).

HOWEVER: it most likely is illegal to share Riot's files publicly, unless they themselves say/said otherwise. Some Companies allow you to use their files for mods, even in other games, and release them on modding sites. Others like bethesda for example (who rely on modders/mod-users for alot of their sales), won't even let you publish them as mods for one of their own games.

For your own safety you'd be better off releasing a tutorial if you want to do it around here.

If you make a tutorial on how to install said files and include a download link, I will bless you every time you sneeze, no matter how far you are. As for the legal thing, Riot's okay with you using their stuff for their own game, so long as it doesn't give you an in-game advantage or is monetized.

If it's still up right now since posted then that means it doesn't go against the TOS for League as it does not alter the game in a way which would provide an advantage to you over other players.

Hey friend, the announcer have some problems and bugs. She repeat same lines so much, when the minions spawns she don't say anything, when your teammates kills someone she never says ''your allied is rampage'' or something, she only say the lines when you kill someone. Hope you can fix it.

Late, but this isn't the full pack. Lots and lots and looots missing sounds. But it's the best we can get.

My file goes as far as \VO\en_US and there is no shared file. so im abit confused to where to place it. Also i tried searching the announcer audio and replacing the original announcer with the file (which is in a different location), but unfortunaly it still doesnt work. Can someone help me please!
