I'm very happy Kathus is not getting left in the dust, his old skins where badly drawn and poorly represented him! here is a list of the replacements.

pentakill karthus splash is fairly new. so doesnt need chinese.

Karthus splash change is the most evident sign of lowering our pants and bend over to the chinese vision of the world. It's pure BS. He got his face obscured in most of the arts (that looks like Veigar gone tall) because for chinese ppl is disrespectful to show bones.

The chinese splash of the statue of karthus would have been chosen anyway because it looks a lot more detailed and better than the old one.

The chinese phantom karthus looks way more like the current ingame model

The so called "censor" on his classic splash is likely nothing more than a reference to his old chinese appearance,because the chinese were used to having a karthus with a covered face,so they covered his face in the splash art anyway. Because there is literally NOTHING to censor in the first place,since karthus doesn't have a skeletal face anymore(I mean if they are fine with showing the face of pentakill karthus,then there is no reason why they'd need to censor the face of regular karthus)

What? Riot wants to update splash arts but there are too many, so they took some form japan. Not everyone likes them of course but Karthus's where really bad... as for the censor I don't really mind(it's not even completely blacked out it's more transparent)

His base splash art looked amazing. Now it's like they smeared some black on it for no apparent reason. There is LITERALLY NO REASON to change that for EU. We don't care about Chinese customs and what they consider to be disrespectful. There's not even a huge amount of Chinese people around here playing it (on EU servers).

The guy above is 100% right. It's nothing more and nothing less then bending over and getting violated.

They probably aren't going to change the current Pentakill Karthus splash (that is in line with his updated model) into this, which not only is a different style from the already-up-to-date NA splash, but also portrays his old Pentakill model, rather than his updated one.

P.S- The splashes are Chinese, not Japanese. :P
