Noxus around Piltover

Piltover - Regions - Universe of League of Legends

I have been looking throught the new lore recently and i discovered Medarda heirloom map around Piltover. if you search the area around Piltover, you find that a majority of citys have a Noxus seal next to them. Some areas have been taken from Shurima too by the looks of it. It makes me wonder what the chances of Noxus planning a major siege on the area with multiple towns to possably be used as staging grounds. Are there any story reasons that Noxus hasnt taken over Piltover? even though the have taken over areas farther south than Piltover

Actually, Noxians already have spies in Piltover, so its possible that they want to take over Piltover in a future.

As Ebonmaw has said, Noxus is already planning to take Piltover, and has spies there already.

The reason that Noxus is going for the elaborate approach instead of just marching their armies to Piltover is most likely because they want to take Noxus with an little damage to the location as possible. Piltover is the key to most trade in Runeterra, and a violent siege would scare merchants away, reducing the economic value of the location. The Noxian Empire conquers with purpose. If all that's left is smoky ruins, then they gain nothing from their conquest.

Taking Piltover by force would be difficult. It's the trade center of the world, the Piltovians have access to hextech (and as far as I know, no one else does except a small business in Ionia), and if the Pilties are allies with Demacia, then it's DEFINITELY going to be difficult. Piltover and Demacia were allies in old lore, but given how insular Demacia is now, I'm not too sure anymore.

Noxus is taking its time on this one.

From what i can gather both "Progress day" and "Darius: Blood of Noxus" seem to take play further in the time line based on how Darius and draven look older compaired to in game art. with only a past tence mention of Piltover, which could mean farther back than a quick glace could gather. tho not later than the map earlier

There is no logical explanation for why such a strong empire with large numbers hasn't taken over Piltover yet. The map looks like a copy-paste version of Constantinople surrounded by the Ottoman empire, but as we know, even though Constantinople belonged to the developed Byzantine, it got conquered pretty easily. Chalk it up to bad lore. Again.

What is Piltover's military like? I want to know! What kind of soldiers are the Noxians dealing with? Do they all have guns? What about the Screaming Yipsnakes? Corki's air squadron had aerial superiority over everyone else unless Noxus has dragon riders. I'd be down for a rival ace or dragon rider champion. Give me Piltover's war history, Riot!
