Gnar's official age

After being directed here by the Riot Support, I was hoping I could get a more official confirmation on what I understand of Gnar's lore. I was told that Gnar was frozen in the true ice at the age of 4, and wanted to make sure this is his official lore, and to get a confirmation or denial on this then meaning he is a child. This has been a subject of argument for a while among myself and some friends, and I'd really appreciate a clear enough answer to settle the issue.
