Chroma for Malzahar?

I'll preface this by saying I'm not a big fan of the paid chroma concept, but I feel like the Malzahar skins available are pretty bad. I've purchased two of the skins and refunded them.

I'm desperate enough that I'd pay a little to have some Chroma options.

What's the status of chromas in general? Were they retired? If not, is there any hope for a Malzahar chroma pack?
